Takasaki Festival
The Takasaki Festival is one of Gunma Prefecture’s biggest summer events, held every year in early August in Takasaki City. Over 700,000 visitors gather over two days to experience this lively festival packed with stunning attractions.
The highlight of the festival includes the majestic parade of lavishly decorated festival floats, energetic mikoshi (portable shrines), and powerful taiko drum performances that bring the streets to life. But the real showstopper is the spectacular fireworks display, where around 15,000 fireworks light up the night sky, synchronized perfectly with music to create a breathtaking experience.

Kusatsu Onsen
Kusatsu Onsen is one of Japan’s most famous hot springs, known for its highly acidic waters. The town’s iconic Yubatake (hot water field) and the unique Yumomi (hot water stirring) experience are must-sees.
